When looking for an activity filled day or a relaxing afternoon can be spent North Vancouver is the one place where you can find exactly those things to do.

The family or business person looking for North Vancouver attractions that like sports will not want to miss the BC Hall of Fame and Museum. This is where there is trophies, metals and sports equipment dating back to the 1800’s. There are also interactive videos and a racecar simulator, along with the Greg Moore gallery, which has an Indy racecar. Spending a day in this museum there are tours or visitors can go on self guided tours.

There is the BC Golf Museum for the golfer in the family, with trophies dating as far back as1892. There are collections of golfing equipment and other items, there is also the Poldi Bentley Golf Library which houses 2,000 volumes of golfing materials.

For year round fun and excitement there is Grouse Mountain, this is where there are sleigh rides and ski slopes that are from novice skill levels to expert. During warmer weather there are hiking, walking and cycling trails that are of all skill levels and which have picturesque views of nature.

One of the places that holds beauty and tranquilly is the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden in North Vancouver. The garden is built in the style of a traditional Ming Dynasty Chinese garden, with ponds of jade green water and follows Feng Shui and Taoism for harmony and balance. The rocks, plants, flowers and water has all been build in a way to relax any visitor.

Also across the bridge of North Vancouver there is Stanley Park, where you can find activities like the miniature railway that runs through the park modeled after the first transcontinental passenger train. There is the Ted and Mary Grieg Rhododendron Garden with more than fifty varieties of Rhododendrons to walk through and the Seawall at the edge of the park. There is the Children’s Farmland, where they are able to see two hundred animals, birds and reptiles. There are local artist that gather in the park to work on their art, places to picnic and other activities.
